Wanted to ask a quick question does pinterest allow you to direct link from the picture to cpa offer without having a website.

i.e Lose weight pin/banner ==> cpa diet offer?

Yes, you are allowed to add direct affiliate link without any website.

I think pinterest allows you to link to anything and anywhere long as the domain isn't banned/blocked

I feel like most CPA/affiliate sites have had their direct links blocked (like on Facebook). Not sure about Pinterest though, but wouldn't surprise me one bit.

How about just getting a cheap $1 domain and 301 it to the CPA offer?

In theory Pinterest allows aff links, but if the content the Pinterest webcrawlers visit is not either relevant or low quality, you will find your links get blocked pretty quickly, also DO NOT use link shorteners, they get blocked instantly!.

It should be noted that this is not allowed for advertising pins. I just asked my account manager about it.
