Hello, everyone!

Although I follow the forum for a long time I don't usually post too much here. Except in some special cases. I'm somewhat into PBNs, although I only focus on getting high quality expired domains and I create top quality content on these websites. However, I don't have a huge network.

All my websites are health-related as I'm also a physician. I have general medical websites and other ones on specific diseases. This week, I came across a very good expiring domain in terms of backlinks (I bought it) but it's exactly the same topic/niche as another website I have (which is performing very good in both Analytics + AdSense). This website also performs quite good in collecting emails for marketing purposes on this specific niche.

Considering we are in 2020 and I have enough content to update both of them and both have good quality backlinks pointing to them, what would you consider: to update a single one and redirect the other one to this old one I have (and also merge the content on a single site, improving the number of indexed pages), or to expand my PBN, even though they are in the exact same topic?

I'd like to hear from you guys on this one.

Thanks a lot!

If I am in your situation means I will go with 2 websites. I will not mingle it.

With having enough content which is usually an issue. Keep them seperate. Double your chance of having two domains in tye serps. Some people might prefer the one above the other so either way you get the traffic.

I would go with 2 websites . Maybe adding content in a different language on one of them could be a test if you think you can reach different zones

While building 2 sites feel nice, you'll need twice the effort as well.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I do have the resources to launch two websites and I guess I will go with this option. :)

nice choice. having 2 websites will be better. also in future if you link them to each other the backlinks will worth much more as you know same niche backlinks are more valuable.

I'm in your situation. A lot of people - also on this forum - said it's no good to have different sites for the same kw...

I suggest to maintain the both websites, with various concept to focus the same niche/topic.
