I've been considering investing some of my blog profits into creating a couple of youtube channels.

A quick question if you don't mind. Have you changed your upload schedule at all as the channel takes off?
I know you initially looked at publishing every day, and then changed to publishing every 2 - 4 days. I'm just wondering if you're now scaling faster as you seem to have a successful formula.

That's exactly what im doing except im investing YT profits into other projects.

So you've actually got it backwards! I initially started publishing every 2-4 days. Then switched to publishing everyday. But honestly i have another channel where Im only posting 3 times a week and it's still making money.

Just out of curiosity, according to your latest income report, you own two channels in sports niche (Channel No. 2 & 7). What kind of videos you upload?

To manage unique vidoes in sports niche is pretty hard since you need real players or athletes. There are many channels uploading copyrighted matches but as far I know you're miles away from BH.

On my sports channel im making about $50 a day; havent gotten any copyright claims. The key is to use just short clips while adding a lot of commentary.

@wengthemeng what's your thought about this: As a small top 10s channel (<100 subs, 28 vids) I posted a youtube video (8:51) in a relevant subreddit and it gained views just from there, after 3 hours on the dashboard I can see 26 total views, Impressions click-through rate 0%, AVD 2:51. So basically, with 0% CTR, the algo won't even try to recommend my content, right? So is it worth promoting outside of youtube, or do you have a better way of doing this (like maybe post a community post on other channel and promote that on the subreddit) ?
