Visibility (e.g posting in popular threads) is probably far less important than behind-the-scenes work, such as reporting and assisting the current mod team.
My vote would go towards @Veil123 - been keeping an eye on him. Mostly quality posts, very helpful, was very active with the 2.0 launch and seems like a good guy.
He's a no-go obviously as he runs a BST, but stil deserve a shoutout.
