Make money while sleeping Vs making money while working

Which way would you rather make money?
Something automated that works(or even a person paid by you) while you sleep or work and get paid by hour
Im not talking necessarily about 9 to 5 job but anything you would want to do.

I've been into twitter automation for some time now , and the reason I started doing it is
1. I enjoy programming and creating my own bot was nice task for my own parctice
2. I wanted to be paid even when I sleep and see the profits every morning

Lately twitter gave me some though time but I've just done creating a list of huge improvements I will implement soon
But on the other hand I might be making more money by investing my time into freelance work of web developing etc

What so you think is the best way to do it to make real income?

I'd rather earn a passive income 24/7 while also selling, doing a service or developing something during the day time to maximize profit.

While sleeping ofc to enjoy daytime but life is not like that.

Its all about traffic.
Get a steady & stable big traffic source or create your own network and monetize it.
If you have a store, a meme website whatever its all about traffic.

I always focus my work time on stuff that can be automated or stuff that will eventually show passive traffic. That's the only thing I strive for.

Sometimes I use methods that require manual work to show any money at all though, but that's only when I'm running low.

I think you are missing the whole point.
Working for a living has it's limitations, you could get fired, clients can run out on you, pandemic.. and just about anything you could think of, that could put your income at risk.
Passive income is all about the ability to be financially free, it doesn't mean you need to be unemployed and do nothing with your life, but you can chase dreams, creative business ideas, be able to work because you feel like it.

I am really against doing nothing with yourself, even if you are filthy rich, you need to find something that drives you and keep your life in check, goals tend to do just that, routine is also something that assists.

When you put the question like this - it's beyond any doubt that passive income is the answer.

But we should all understand that passive income is not the Holy Grail and that it has its own cons.

Also there is a common misconception about earning money and doing nothing. Very few things can actually qualify as 'true' passive income.

But if you have an automation , you can go to sleep wake up and see you've made $$ while you was sleeping , and continue improving it during day time
