Hi, I'm a mom who was hacked by her own children and husband during a divorce from within the home network. But being a mom, I am also poor and do not have a lot of money or thousands of dollars for data Forensics. I called Data Forensics Lab, they have many locations.

They say they have developed propriotory software that can find espionage in a corporation, or computer hacking techniques to close those. For some people I saw in their reviews, they were being blackmailed by people they met online that recorded their nude interactions then recorded it and blackmailed them.

Suddenly 6 or 8 grand later their problem is solved. That's weird. If I sent nudes to someone the only way to really get it off of theirs would be to hack into the bad guys computer, right? So I wonder how they are really "solving problems".

In my situation my own children within my network hacked into my email and all my accounts. This company stated for $500 they have made a proprietary software, and remotely they scan my computer to find exactly how I was hacked. Well first I have to fix my broken macbook.

If this is true, is there a generic budget version of the advanced software they are using that I can learn to make or learn to get?

Say the new software that lets anyone code. Anyone. Could I be able to make my own proprietary software, that I sell as an app to any housewife going through a divorce for 19.99, and it does a search on their computer showing malicious and hacking keylogger software, when it was on the computer and where it came from, and then allows them to make a printout to take to court? How is this for a business app. idea?

I need more than malware bytes. A lot of us in domestic violence do. Imagine if every domestic violence shelter had access to this software to be able to check the woman's phone and computer When she came in to keep the shelters safe too?

Do you see what I mean? Does anyone have suggestions?

You do not need to pay any company a hefty amount. A very simple approach would be to open task manager and find processes that you think are suspicious, find their file location and delete the file.

As a precaution, you should also password protect your mac. After securing your macbook, it would be advisable to change password of all your social media accounts, emails or any personal accounts that you may have on the internet.

You can Reset the whole Device and this worked for me when My Laptop was infected.Professionals can correct me If I am wrong but mostly this will do the work.

I need to do more than just delete the file, I have to forensically record the file and print out that it was there and who put it there. So that information can be taken to law enforcement or court.

What happened was police officers are not computer experts and neither are judges. There should be an easy less expensive way to detect the software, and the source of the software, even if it is from within your network.

For example if your calculator is operating your camera, the software not only detects it and shuts it off, but shows exactly where it came from and what computer put it there. If the keylogger was on, it does not simply turn the keylogger off or delete it, but goes a step further in showing how the malicious software got there and who recieved it.

In my case during a protection from abuse everything on my computer was being sent to my ex husbands email. The software could go back to 2012 on my computer, see it was hacked and by which computer and email recieved my hacked information. Which computer within the network recieved the info. Which computer with in the network changed all my passwords, etc.

Then I want a printout of all this information in the form of a report that can be taken to court or law enforcement.

It seems like this could actually be hard to trace back. Did you figure out how this infected file got on your macbook? There are two ways:

1. Downloading an infected file that someone sent you. (this could be a proof that someone sent you an infected file that contained a key-logger to play with your personal details)

2. Someone manually accessed your macbook and uploaded an infected file

Without any source, a file can't get on your macbook just out of thin air. There has to be a source, it's either you downloaded it or someone manually put it there. On the other hand, if you think this malicious file is communicating with a server and is feeding the server data from your mac to another PC / mac then you'd have to find this file and view it's source code. Analyze it's source code and find out the HOST server that this malicious file may be connecting to (this is a very daunting task)

Since the person tracking me, my then husband, gave me the computer and the computer was used when he gave it to me on Christmas Dec 2011 and the protection from abuse was Feb 21 2012. First, my then husband could have given me a computer that was made to send info to him.

But after I changed all my passwords to all my accounts (while still in the home at the shared network) after getting the protection from abuse, someone was able to see me change all my passwords, and change all my passwords again. Then, they at the same time, one of them (there were 2 of my children, my daughter's boyfriend also a hacker, and my soon to be ex husband involved).

Then during the protection from abuse, someone tried to forward my email but instead I got a work email from my husband's work forwarded to me.

Before forwarding my email He changed the name first my email had no name (a month before, and my ex email had no name, then each of our emails suddenly have our names on them), then my email is changed to Mr and Mrs my ex husbands name.

Then they change the name on my email back to my name. I am unaware of all this because I was locked out of my email at this time during this whole time. I was also unaware of my accounts being tampered with because I was locked out of my accounts. So, who ever was controlling my accounts and email that month while I was at the domestic violence shelter, it was not me until I recovered all of my accounts.

When I arrived at the dv shelter another resident checked my computer and found a Bluetooth that she said was viewable by me ex, she said his email could view my entire computer. but he had to be 50 feet away.

So during visitation he gives our son a smartphone when none of us had phones. This is how he was able to come within 50 feet of the dv shelter to still spy on me using my son's smartphone to get our location and he drove by the shelter. Until that bluetooth was turned off. No keylogger was found on the computer.

Because of the espionage my ex and adult children knew everything I was doing and he tracked me to the dv shelter as well as was able to manipulate himself into a position to get full custody through all four of them lying about me.

During this time around December 2011, my son was an atheist, he sent our pastor an email that contained a file that broke his church website/email and took their computer person an entire afternoon to fix. Our Pastor was also my son's uncle. So my son was hacking other family members and not just me.

Sounds like a pretty messed up situation, hope you figure it out. Regarding the last statement you made, yes any file could be malicious and can maliciously control your computer, access personal details, etc..

If you can find the file, I'll try to help you out. :)

I thought of another thing. Prior to Christmas I had a Dell type laptop and we had virus protection on all the home computers. Well, my computer gets a virus that completely blows up my computer unrepairable.

So my son and soon to be ex say that they are tired of me getting viruses all the time so they are giving me a MacBook because "they can't get viruses". So how then does a Malicious software attack the almighty mac that can get no viruses?

Someone must have put it in your MacBook. You were using Windows before, it's more easy to infect Windows than a Macbook. The virus that infected your Dell probably messed up your HDD so that booting any operating system is impossible. Did you have a technician look into it?

My son and soon to be ex husband were my tech dept. Ok so they put something on my MacBook that reported everything to them. Once I get the MacBook up and running how to I identify the source and get a printout that would be good for evidence?

You need to find the file that you think is malicious and shouldn't exist in your Macbook & then you need a way to prove it's harmful by either viewing it's source-code (I think u need to find someone for this) and the person also needs to see if it has any malicious code in it's source-code then I guess that could be a good enough evidence?

Once you find the file, there is also a file meta-data meaning you can see when the file was created (the date), file name and author name (usually blank)

Heck for $5000 - $6000 dollars I would run over my MacBook and then put it in Oven. After that I would spread the remains in the river. Then I would buy myself a new one rather then fixing this one.

Are you certain that its located in your MacBook? What are the signs that you are noticing, meaning did you see anything different on the computer that made you believe this (instead of being some other/external sign not on PC), and if so, what are the details?

Sure there are programs that can find and remove the spyware, but i understand that you want to be careful not to delete it. Most porograms scan first and then ask you whetherto delte/quarantine, but you can do some investigation yourself first. In any case, first step i think, would be to remove the infected computer from the network.

Also, please look at network activity, while having all apps closed. (Ofc, while the computer is still connected). Actually, do this at a time when you believe the suspects are asleep. Is there a listing that shows activity? Take notice of them and research them (or post/send me a screenshot)

My first sign was the phone which was a magic jack worked when i called 911 but a voip card was used to change the address so the police could not find my house. The second sign was that i asked fb friends for help. My return calls i could not hear and they were all forwarded to his phone so i could not get contact with friends. The phone would not dial out and was fuzzy and sporatic. Yhis cut me off from friends until i made a google phone.

I began changing the locks and changing all my passwords to fb, eBay, Craigslist, email, PayPal. Almost immeadiately I was locked out of all my accounts. My phone calls were all forwarded to his phone.

When I escaped to the dv shelter because of the adult children, my soon to be ex gave one of the children a smart phone, then after my ex drove by the dv shelter to intimidate me, a computer savvy person there checked my computer and she found a Bluetooth going to my husband's email straight to the email at his work.

When I recovered my email a month later, i found the name changed on my email then changed back and a forwarded email from someone at integrated electronics (where he worked an internal work email) to my husband at his email address forwarded to me. This is During an order of protection.

I left the marriage, the computer quit working a short time after that. It still does not work. I don't have a network currently, just two smart phones. I get internet again in two days.

hallo, how about "reset" the computer and don't use same network for work ? do you have to try it ?

It was not my work email, it was his work email forwarded to my personal email and my personal email put into a different name. I am no longer in the same network. First I will get the computer working again. it doesn't work anymore. It's an old mac and it's broken.

you still have that old mac ? how about the hard drive? still in good condition ?

is still good condition, you can used that in same type of macbook and just chage the old hard drive from old mac to new mac with old harddrive. sometimes it will help to using similiar / same interface for yours old macbook.

I have the old macbook. I am going to take it in to be repaired. So if the hard drive can be recovered I can then begin data recovery?? ok so then could I end up with a really nice mac again when it's all said and done? So I get my data recovered and a MacBook. sounds nice. It's a white MacBook. ancient. was used when I got it in 2011. I loved it.
