Why my FB ads threshold is only 2$?

I just made a new FB account, and i'm very surprised that my threshold is only 2$, i wonder if it's because it's Candian? is it new FB law ?

For new account they always start low, check inside the settings if you can increase the threshold yourself. If not reach their support, after few completed payment you can ask to increase it

But a month ago it was starting with 20$ am i right ? what happened now ?

I'm not sure about that, the last account I started last year also was around 2$... Just start advertising, they will bill you every 2$ and this will quickly start increasing... But every new account means lots and lots of small amounts charged to your CC... I guess the big FB is scared of any new user not paying his bills.. It does not really matter (apart from the fact your accountant might not like it)
So don't worry about that, You need to build trust with them...

i think you don't need to worry about threshold if you are not doing something fishy as Facebook will slowly increase your threshold as you pay the invoice.

Thanks for you all guys, But for some reasons what you are saying isn't true, Because i'm making FB ads since years everytime with new account, but this is the first time they charge me every 2$....for sure there is something wrong, Maybe it's about the country i make the account with ?
