Hello,

A couple of months ago, I started a YouTube channel. It has been 3 months and I got 48 subs and 307 watch hours.

I decided to post here because I want to be consistent on this and I want to get motivated by you guys. I think the most difficult thing on this journey is consistency because it's hard to be consistent when you don't have results. I mean it's been 3 months and I got only 48 subs.

My niche is informative / motivation / succes / knowledge in general ( not basic motivational videos ) .
The process during creating a video depends on the length of the video. I had videos that took me maybe 6-10 hours to make and I had videos that took me 3 hours. It's an entire process by cutting, subtitle, footage, music, sfx etc.

I don't want quick cash, I want to build a brand in the long run.

In terms of monetization, I can have multiple sources such as:
-YouTube ad revenue ( I think the CPM on this niche is higher )
- Affiliate marketing
-My own digital product
-Merch

I have in total of 30 videos and in the last 2 weeks, I gained almost 35 subs.

Try to use Facebook paid ads to promote your channel. will help alot.

Just a tip, try to schedule them 3 4 times a week at most (depending in the niche) or you'll burnout. Anyways, good luck.

I will try this because if I'm going to burnout i don't think i will make more videos haha

What do you mean by Facebook paid ads? Promote my Facebook page or my youtube videos?

I was thinking of a promotion from different Instagram pages related to business but I will think about Facebook ads too

Can you teach how to increase subscribers using fb ads?

For both guys, if you want to increase subscribers or viewsership through fb paid ads, first of all make attractive thumbnail image and put video on sponsor, target your desired country audience, put great content inside video you will see spike in analytics

Do you think it's better to put just a "trailer" and promote id as Facebook video and place the link in the description or just promote the youtube video

keep the good work, youtube growth pattern is often exponential, the hardest part is the first few thousands subs.

Its up-to you buddy. I noticed mostly videos are 10-15 minutes long in sponsor ads that have bunch of impressions!

UPDATE

It's been 10 days since my last reply. Since then I have made only 3 videos. I started to lost some motivation here and there, it's been like 1 day I'm pumped and the next day I'm really really lost.

Achievements so far:
  1. 55 subscribers
  2. Views - 6,000 / 323 hours watch time
These days I started to rethink my strategy. Initially, I just made videos about topics in my niche that are popular. I usually download the video take the best part and put footage on it ( from videoblocks). This was a nightmare because it took a lot of time so I decided to just put the original video because, in the end, the information matters. When this channel will bring money, I will pay someone to edit really cool videos.

I figure it out that if I'm going to take video from popular channels with huge subscribers ( 1, 2, 3 M) the chances to blow up are low. So instead of doing that, I started searching for small channels (5k max subs) and in those channels, I searched for popular videos that have been posted 1 or 2 weeks ago.

Doing that I had a better chance to blow up so I made 3 videos which gave me this:

  1. First video -> 1633 views
  2. Second video -> 2350 vires
  3. Third video -> 300 vires in the first 24 hours ( on this video I ranked 2 on Youtube search right above on one of my competitor but I think I'll pass that because I have slightly better thumbnail)

How I searched for small channels?

Simple, I just search on YouTube on popular keywords, and then I filtred it on view cont + posted this week.

Good luck on your journey, so right now you are just getting the videos from the small channels and uploading it on your own?
doesn't this create copyright problems?

Does it really work? I tried it many times but click on link is almost zero.

Would your mind to share your Thumbnail image? After running the campaigns, the foremost thing is your thumbnail image that let people to click on it or not. Rest will be your inside stuff.
