【Expired Domain Issue】Google Search Console Is Reducing External Links

Hi I done one auction for one domain 3 months ago, and the metrics is：

RD: 700
TF: 39
CF: 41
I also showing one screenshoot here


What I do is：
1. using archive to restore all of the website as previously
2. waiting one month to let google index page naturally
3. after one month，i seen have pages indexed，then i generate one sitemap，aroung 10K links，then sumbit to google search console
4. and now，the external links only showing 128，which is really really really less than any metric tools showing，i want to know why casued it happen，because now only 60 referring domains showing on the google search console，and actaully having over 700+ referring doamins.

The big problem is one week ago i found the external links showing number is 209，but now is 128 ，i dont know why google search console even reduce the amount.

I am 100% sure there is no any spam on before，the only problem is that site is old design with HTML，and few contents on each of content page，word around 100~200 words，so is this problem to caused this？

So now what I should do，really confused because this domain wasted my 4000 USD.

Can you check if those links are live by manually placing them on google from ahrefs, if yes then I believe google Will slowly add them back

I am having same issues across my domains. I have like 850 RD in GSC missing, even though I redirected every single dead internal page to relevant content.

I believe my number in GSC is 120 (out of 850 RD) and that number is dropping, rather than moving up.

Google is a cunt.

If the issues on the world Nargil can not solve, I thought there is no any persons can solve it.

Just give it time really, I don't know what's gonna happen either. Google has been unbelievably slow since the lockdown. If you utilized the backlinks correctly, they might start showing eventually. Who knows. I would keep site as is.

Hi Nargil, how about your condition right now, I just done the repurpose the website，and google showing me the external link to 50, it means they reduce double again, unbelievable！

I kept all of the old URL structure, and add the one more new sitemap including my new URLs, it should be more but the result is reversed.
