I just read you have mentioned Quetext. As per my Previous experience of 8-9 years, everyone is using copyscape.

Is Quetext better than Copyscape?

I wasn't online earlier so missed all this, but I suggest you run that article through Quetext and see what exactly you had delivered.
It was 79% copied with most of the copied text a straight 100% lift from 1 website.
