Snapchat removes posting links in storys?

With the new Snapchat update that just came out I have not been able to post a snap story with a link. Every time I try it says “Failed to post”. I have tried many different domains and websites that I own including domains I have never posted on snap before which are 100% not blocked by snap and it will still not post. The only websites that will post for me are big websites like google.com, YouTube.com, etc. Anyone else having this issue?

Same Problem. I think it’s not possible anymore to add not whitelisted/trusted links

It seems all that can be done now is to watermark the videos with the domain. Does anyone do this and have good results or should I just switch to another social platform?

yeah I had accounts that got deleted when trying to post links. Seems Snapchat is becoming strict like Instagram

Happens to me on a fresh account
I wait 1-2 days and it works.

You can post swipe ups on fresh accounts with trusted domains only, e.g instagram.com
But if you want to post your own domain, gotta age the account

You age your account by waiting 1-2 days.
So make like 10 accounts in advance and just wait a day or two and you can post links

I was testing all this on an aged account that’s several months old with activity on it each day so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’ve never had problems I could post almost any link I wanted until a few days ago when the update came out now I can’t post anything other than YouTube.com, google.com, etc

Not sure what the issue is for you but that fixed it for me and my friends

Same on my side I had one aged account. I wanted to test directly ban

Same on my accs they are older than 2days and they get disabled after posting story with link.
There is 2 situations as i noticed.
1: new accs cant post link and gets error failed to post
2: older accs can post but gets disabled after some time

i was testing this with just com’s

Are you guys still having issues with this? It lets me add links again but after the story is up for a little my accounts always get disabled
