New Google algorithm update August 10th 2020

Has anyone else noticed some changes in serps over the past 24 hours?

I have noticed lots of disruption for my own sites - some keytwords disapearing from top 100 and some appearing as if out of nowhere.

After a little research I realise that Google are rolling out a massive update right now.

actually the update effect I noticed last week. pervious weeks seem gaining back organic traffic , than last week drop . It seem like Google always update itself come every single week...in mix reactions etc?

Makes sense. I have a couple of new sites where the main keyword has jumped onto the first page from nowhere. Just a waiting game then, see what happens over the next 48 hours.

All of my keywords are back to previous positions now.
Is this really a glitch? Or it could be a sneak peek for the upcoming update?

Local seems to be getting it much harder than national or global. At least on my Facebook feed

Got a few featured snippets back, traffic up 100%... Overall traffic is still 3 times lower as compared to the pre May update, but at least things are starting to head in the right direction... I hope

I go check again my Google Analytics cross finger is good , organic traffic seem increase but my direct traffic drop a lot.
One thing is Bounce rate is increase a lot suddenly ...this is so weird last month till early this month bounce rate around 60++ to 70+
now shoot to 91

Plenty of my local search keywords are down massively, been unusually volatile for around 7 days until they dropped & settled during the weekend so I guess with the news of it being a 'glitch' I'll just have to hope it all returns to normal in another week or so.

Yep, this morning I saw a lot of changes and now I know why. Luckily, my main keywords went only -1 on SERP.

Everything's been rolled back.

Your rank checkers are showing old rankings.

Re-check manually.

My rank checker shows chaos, but when I check manually everything is back in the position it was in yesterday.
