How do these guys get so many views in 2 days

88k views in a vid that was posted 2 days ago...

It was a understandable feat if this was an old account with lots of ratings and subscribers
But if you go into the guys account, you can see that his account was equally created 2 days ago.

I understand that the video is good and everything, but, how do this, and other videos like this manage to become so popular in such a short time, in completely BRAND NEW YT accounts.

Any ideas?

Maybe it got up there on digg or reddit or something? I've gotten a #1 reddit main page listing and there are over 100k people on there at any given time.

Yeah right, I have 30 Yotube accounts mostly gaming related, with lots of ripped off videos, some of them, as good as this one. And I'm getting 100 views a day..

I don't buy that, this guy has mass spammed this video in some way or form.

No way a video gets that many views in an account created 48 hrs ago.

He either spammed the hell out of it, or he is managing to inflate his view count somehow.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with the fact that this video was made specifically to market epson products. If you look at the description you'll see: You can find out more from Epson Europe at http://www.epson-europe.com/extremegamer which leads me to believe that this isn't just a personal youtube channel.

I could be wrong, but I think that the epson corporation is behind the promotion of this video, which would explain how it is at 90k views in 2 days. The description and keywords used certainly aren't what caused the flood of traffic.

If it's an original vid that people haven't seen before it can easily take off. Cheesy videos catch on like wildfire. Look at some music videos like new Lady Gaga vids get 30 million views in a few weeks, it's insane. These are stats from a Lady Gaga video: 3 weeks ago 31,044,440 views

Looking at numbers like that make 100k in 2 days not seem so crazy.

This video may easily have been featured on some high profile cable news outlet, and that would cause considerable attention.

It is likely, however, that they got this many views the old fashioned way. They bought them.

Yeah if you get even one highly viewed video, then I'm sure you could create a seemingly endless stream of viral videos by redirecting traffic, even from outside accounts.
