So not much has happened, I did finally get a little bit of time to start writing though.

This will be a short update as I don't have much to say.

Well, this has been a rollercoaster. I had one of my best performing days and also one of my worst days. Fuck google

Content

I published 2 new articles, all around the 1200 word length.

The great news is that I've managed to find a lot of very low competition keywords that I should be able to rank for fairly quickly. I hope in the next update I'll be able to tell you that this was the case

I'm also going to start experimenting with this site, as this is a site I can afford to lose. (But I won't lose it, I promise )

As promised, I didn't stay consistent

Some shit needed to be taken care of, so I didn't focus on the site as much as I should have.

I'm experimenting with this font, let me know if it's any better for reading

EARNINGS

I'm more than happy with the earnings. It's an increase from previous months and September was the second best month I've had since March. To be honest, earnings are pretty much passive at this point. I maybe spend 30 minutes on the site each week (If my partner and I aren't writing any content).

TRAFFIC

Traffic has stayed pretty consistent. Those anomalies are from tests I was doing and should be ignored. In total, I probably only had 1.2k users, which is still quite a lot more than it was in the previous time period. The bounce rate has been decreasing but is still quite high, I'll need to work on that. Session duration has also lowered significantly but I believe this may be due to my testing.

CONTENT

I still managed to get some content out, but not as much as I wanted to. I'm not going to set any goals right now, as probably none of them will get done. I'll be working on pushing out more content when possible.

I might just end up selling the site in the near future but for now, I'll keep on posting some articles each month and see how they rank.

The last few articles I published took 1 month to begin ranking. The main keyword (600 monthly SV) is now ranking at 7. I'm currently just using some of my competitor's most popular pages and using those keywords. The competitor has a very spammy site with content that's barely readable, so hopefully the updates will take him down

Well then. Guess who wasn't lying when they said they'll update in a year

Shortly after my last update a great opportunity fell into my lap, and I just had to take it. I didn't pay much attention to the site but somehow it kept doing its thing and traffic stayed fairly level.

From my previous updates you've probably realised that I'm not very productive, and often have a number of excuses

I've been trying a lot harder now, as I don't really have any excuses left.

Here's how the site is doing currently:





I've stepped on the pedal in the past 3 months and have been pushing out as much content as possible.

Trying to get to 100,000 words by mid August if everything goes well.

Earnings have been steady, around $40-50 each month. It's more than enough for the upkeep of the site and with the new content being pushed out it should hopefully increase.

Will be posting a new update whenever I can
