google finding your link

So, I am new to the white hat stuff... I wrote an article in ezine and it got approved, I obviously want that backlink from the resource box to help my money site asap - do I need to ping all of my articles once they are live in ezine or will google just pick up my article, crawl it, and find my link without me pinging the article?

If you want your articles to be crawled quickly by search engine spiders, then you need to Ping them.
