$1.19 - .COM domain [GoDaddy]

Godaddy has terrible customer service. I wouldn't ever use them again.

Are you kidding me? They have the best customer service out of any business I've ever dealt with. Though as I understand it, it's not a great idea to use godaddy to get domains, though I still use them... mainly because of the positive association I have with them from their support, especially when I was a complete noob....

lol

godaddy are the worst company i have dealt with

emailed them twice for customer support and their answer was 100% wrong and a lie the 1st time and the second time it was incorrect and wasn't right either

my advice is take the cheap domain and put it on your normal hosting.

godaddy hosting is beyond dreadful

Yeah, godaddy are horrible, I prefer internet.bs

This is an awesome deal. But GoDaddy is horrible for blackhatting. I got 1 complain and they shut me down. No explanation necessary. If you're doing a white hat website, it's great and cheap. But don't expect any service.

Agreed. Not only will they "shut you down" so to speak, they actually can TAKE your domain name away from you. No biggie for a throw away domain name, but if you've got a site you really want to keep and grow forget it.

I still stick by what I said before though.... Support is AWESOME. I've never emailed them, so I'm not sure how that goes, but they've got 24 hour phone support (480) 505-8877 (got it memorized from calling it so much, lol...)

By the way, neither coupon code is working for me. I used my main account, and tried to create a new one. No such luck...

Found this though (nothing like .99 or 1.99)

It seems the codes are not working any more. I've been using Godaddy for some years now without any problems.

Crap, I missed this...

I have two sites with GoDaddy, one whitehat, one blackhat. I've never had any problems with them.

Yes i use godaddy for hosting and domain name and they work just fine, I just hate the fact that the site is too promotional, you see offer everywhere. But except for that the service and prices are very OK. The 199DOMAIN code doesn't work any more though :(

You don't get whois protection with these free domains! ... so these are kind of useless for me!

Use fake info when registering the domain? I don't think I've ever put in correct details when buying a domain.

I always put correct details for the domain registration because it needs to be matched with my credit card details. Besides, they caught you putting the wrong information and here goes your account!

How about using a fake address along with a visa gift card, that has worked in some cases.

I use PayPal so they won't know my CC info.

Or, change the domain to fake info after registering.

I wanted some but the problem is that you cannot have them under 1 account. Any way arounf it guys ???

Dont know if the working:

I wanna Chiggy Wiggy :) If Again 1.99$ promo code is available please inform and PM

Can you use it to renew a domain instead of purchasing a new one?

A while ago there was a trick that if you bought 5 domains, they could be .info's, and you could get whois protection for free. Does anyone remember how to do this?

I actually just did this last night. There's no trick to it. Just search for and add five .info domains to your cart. When you go to your cart, it will have the free WhoIs protection up there for you. Just check all five with the free protection, and you can even add a coupon code as well.

Just remember, after a year, you have to pay full price for the .info ($10.69) as well as the WhoIs anonymity ($8.99). And that's each, by the way. At that price and quality, you are better off getting a ten dollar dot com from Namecheap, as it comes with free WhoIs protection by default.

Thanks, I was wondering about this as well.

I hate GoDaddy, I think Monikor is the best. But thanks for the code, anyone has codes for TDNAM?

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but are there any good offers on .com's with private WHOIS right now. Thanks in advance. :)

Try "Internet.bs" I haven't used them myself yet, but it was mentioned here before. $7 for .com and free private WHOIS
