Thank you for your advises, I'm not sure if I can afford 6 to 8 months of continuous investments, as this is not my main business and my other business is suffering from covid-19, but I will certainly give it a try.

Yes, that's what i thought. After reviewing my content, i will probably hunt for lower competitive keywords, and start the work on them.
Never heard about KGR keywords, but will have a read about it, thank you.

I have tried doing that a few years back, but after a lot of time and investment, i had to stop, because I was not making any profits in order to keep the investment going. with covid-19, i now have a bit more time in hand, so I thought I would give this project another go. I am still a bit skeptical about hiring an SEO company due to past experiences and short on budget. So I will try to do it myself, with some help from bhw especially for unique content

Okay, thanks for the feedback. Donthave a budget for a lot of keywords, so will probably start with less difficult keywords.
