Google is about Backlinks while Bing is the real Search Engine? - Case Study

Sometimes I accidentally search on Bing, for example if its the default search engine for the browser. When I do that I can never find what I want. So in my opinion bing is nowhere near as good as Google when it comes to providing relevant results.

having said that, Google does often provide inacurate or irelevant results as well so of course they are not perfect and most importantly yes of course they can be tricked and minipulated - otherwise we'd all be out of a job right?

Appreciate your share, but one or two keywords SERPs are not enough to conclude anything.

Fyi, Bing do tell us how they rank web pages, and imo the algorithms between these SEs are very similar.

Bing tells you how it ranks pages in those webmaster guidelines as much as Google does, which is to say, they don't. Ranking algorithms are an IP (intellectual property) which isn't usually disclosed - the only way you can find out the algorithms for sure is via the patent office.

Well, it is not. Google has personal search it hard to say what it will show to you and to me on the same keyword. Backlinks I think were died in 2010. Now google it's a real squid that grab information from it's browser, android devices, google DNS and networks, google Ad sense and google tracking and who knows from there else. They can control your every click, every mouse move etc. They have your personal profile with your favourits and interests, if you bought something and it was google analytics on the site they know it. Just forget about backlinks probably you saw old sites that 10 years ago spammed with links but now it doesn't work 100%.

Google shows the same results to everyone with very few exceptions (like local rankings), they even had to testify before Anti-Trust courts for exactly this issue. Backlinks will never die, the algorithms calculating the power of a link will always change. All those things you mentioned help increase the accuracy of those algorithms, but they don't replace backlinks, they are a function of them. Stop spreading bullshit on stuff you don't know!

Ok, it's a believer in backlinks here, have a nice day in your late 2000s, lol.

I am a believer in algorithms which are facts, not fiction like you are mentioning here. My analysis comes directly from the patent office, where does yours come from? The bathroom you just took a shit at?

Google is "about true relevance"
Bing & DuckDuckGO is about backlinks.
I have a website in 1st/2nd place for a high competitive keyword in Bing and DuckDuckGO but it appears on page 2 of google for same query. I'm able to trick Bing and Duck but can't beat Google yet.

hmmmm... very interesting.
I don't use google and bing gives me all the answers I need.

I think, it's about the whole user experience... I got used to what bing (I use yahoo but it's the same thing) serves so it's easy for me to find what I need. When I go to google to compare the results, I find google results weird.
