Hello everyone,

Should I silo or not silo?

If you have a minute check out the structure. I want to get this right at the start.

Internal link Structure

100% always silo and interlink between those silos.
You suggest that it's a good idea to interlink silos with each other for e-commerce websites?

For OP:
I don't see a point to have a top level silo of "Shop" on an e-commerce website.

Absolutely. It increases the crawl rate of your pages and makes for a better experience. Having a widget on a page that says 'people who purchases this were also interested in this' is an example of how this could work.

WooCommerce uses a top level and I figured it tells Google they are product pages under it. Maybe I should find out how to remove it.

I plan to have the front page more informational with a couple of links to products.

Also use the generic WP pages to rank keywords.. Think '10 best gifts for Gran'. Then they will link to products related to the guide.

Cheers for taking the time to reply. Good or bad feedback is always helpful.
