I started recently doing Mother-child method on IG with 10 accounts and 1 main acc. What i noticed is the main account started to get a lower amount of organic reach. I am wondering does IG has some detection on this method...

I think the reach is probably going down because people report your account for spam.

It could be the content on your main account. may be the child accounts doesn't have different activities other than feeding the mother account. honestly could be anything.

Yes, I think that they are detecting the activity of mother-child accounts

Childs can not really affect your main. If it were the case, you could use this method to destroy competition.
