travel niche account monetization

Hello! I want to make an Instagram account in the travel niche, but when I check similar accounts with an audience of 100k, 200k and more, I don't see any ads on them. Are such accounts generally monetized or are there no advertisers? if anyone has an account in this niche, how much do you earn and how many followers do you have? thank!

I think before corona most just put a post enjoying in some resort or beach club and tag that ig account.

They either got paid or got free stay or some drink package for such post. Or I could be wrong.

people bloggers I think yes, but I want to create a group with reposts of traveling photographers. maybe there is no demand for advertising in such groups?

I think you must grow the account and do not expect anything till the Corona's normal,you will recover your investment and make profit in travel account as soon as the travel industry booms again.

Yeah I follow few ig travelling couples and most of them returned home around Apr 2020 and now just post pics from home.

Try some fashion niche then you can just promote some clothing brand with vids of chicks dancing at home in sexy outfits hehe.

This is understandable, the question is this: when there was no corona in tourist groups that repost traveling photographers, is there a demand for advertising? I just checked and before the corona and did not see a single advertising post in such accounts.

There is,you can even do cold Emailing to Hotels and this will work like a charm if your page is big enough and on point.

You can monetize. Due to covid the travel niche is down but you can imagine once after the pandemic situation is over, how the competition will be for occupancy and returning back to business.

This pandemic wont go away fast. And then some new virus will spring.

Plus once you lay off workers, and planes were grounded it is not just press the button and things are back to normal.

It could take years before things go back to normal and only if no new virus or financial disaster if stocks were allowed to crash.

Read article Bill Gates is pushing for global vaccination. And who not want to get vaccine will not be allowed to travel.

Then desire to track and control everybody so things are looking bad for the future.

I do not see masses flying for $2 all over europe or for $10 anywhere inside asia anymore.
Less flying equals less tourists equals less profit for travel industry.

No I not promote travel industry but love to travel and reading how airlines keep cancelling already reduced routes.

Also read article by some boss at Turkish Airlines and he said from next year flights will be much more expensive to compensate for less passengers plus increased cost of increased sanitary standards, hire cleaning person to clean during the flight, disinfect plane before and after each flight...

And that boeing MAX plane fiasco which was perfect size of the plane compared to like emirates stuck with a380 and b777 that carry double amount of passengers.

Easier for airline to cancel a380 or b777 flight but if had max plane available to fly, they could still be somewhat profitable flying 100 passenger.

it depends on whether they write in a dm with questions about shoutouts, whether they find out the prices.?
