I am trying to do a ranking pull for ~3000 keywords in Scrapebox's rank tracker. I am running 30 semi-private proxies from Green Cloud VPS set at 2 connections with a 1 second delay. I am getting through around 5% of the total keywords and it looks like Google is blocking the proxies. I have re-tested the proxies through SB and everything is passing the Google check. Any ideas?

Here is a screenshot of the settings:

Here is the Google test:

When I check the proxies against a Google URL harvest, they fail:

There are different kinds of ip bans. The ips will be unblocked in 48 hours or less. So let them rest a day or two and then try 1 connection with a 30 second delay. you might need to go higher on the delay, but 2 connections with 1 second delay is going to get them banned all day every day.

Thanks @loopline super helpful. Didn't realize that was too quick. Appreciate your help.

It would have been find in days gone by, but google keeps tightening up on things. Earlier this year in 2020 they really did a big update and tightened down on things a lot.

Good to know. I will sllooooowwww down haha

Google is consistently more and more protective, what worked 6 months ago, doesn't work anymore. Soon we will need 100x more resources to complete the tasks we did easily few months ago.

Thread moved.

Use rotating proxies to avoid IP ban

Do you have any providers you recommend? I was using storm but they stopped working.
I have a couple of providers here
http://scrapeboxfaq.com/scrapebox-proxies
Storm "can" work kind of, but when google tightened down they didn't really change their ip pool and they just got most of their ips blocked really fast now. you can crank up the retries (you can eve hack the scrapebox ini file and really crank of the retries, but the higher you go the more it slows thins down).

The other provider there does a 5 minute ip rotation. The con to this is less ip rotation, its not on every request like storm is, the upside is this is probably why they are actually working. Because by slowing it down, its stopping everyone else in the pool from banning them.

At the end of the day as mentioned above by @kaudo you just need more resources now days to get the same result.

But in 5 years we will look back and be like "man it was so easy in 2020, I wish we could go back to the way google ways then".

Plus its worth checking out bing. Bing doesn't work for everything but if you are clever you can find good ways to use bing as its more lenient on ip bans.

My 2 cents.
