What does it take to be a successful internet marketer?

I'm nowhere near successful - but I've learned A LOT within the past year.
  • Failing is ok.
  • If you failed for too long - search for help and guidance.
  • If you failed for too long - you need to find the other missing piece of the puzzle.
  • Learn to save money - money helps creates opportunities.
  • Knowledge is power like they all said - I know I know, you hear this quote a lot... but the more I hear it - the more I begin to realize how true this quote is. I've improved drastically by failing and learning and eventually learned the pattern.
  • Networking is your friend - every person you meet in an opportunity. Go out and meet people! One person can change your life, one person can give you ideas, one person can be your life-long friend. You never know. Go meet them!
There's still so much more to learn... but one question remains:
  • How the heck are some of you in a happy relationship T-T while doing this?!
  • Did you sacrifice your time in the beginning and connect with social life after?
I wish I have as much online knowledge as my social life, lol!

consistency,discipline, and decent capital

Enough money to invest. Great patience. Thinking out of the box.

For me, it's this: doing the thing purposefully and having realistic expectations.

When I launched my first site, I didn't know what to expect because I didn't have any clue what I was up against. The site failed hard because while I needed to hit a small target 1000m away, I was too hopeful using a shotgun to achieve that goal. I learned to pick the right target using a pea-shooter instead. Because of that, I didn't hit the promised 10 million dollars, but 10k has been more than enough I've found out. ^^

Money, discipline and spot your mistakes. To survive obviously you need to have some adjust mechanics.
