I'm in the process of hiring an agency to take care of our website (SEO optiminisation etc), and as a tracking tool I was thinking to start with Google Analytics.
However, I've been told to look into companies that can identify users, deeply, like giving names, linkedin accounts, emails etc.

How do they do that? They are quite pricey so I thought to reach this forum and see if:
- you recommend those services
- there are better alternatives (which ones)

Thank you

Are the website visitors from Europe?
because then is GDPR very important and you should check Matomo (best solution for Dataprivacy)

If you wanna see a lot of informations Hitsteps is the best solution for you

yes, website visitors are from Europe and I'm focusing on building traffic in one specific country only (UK).
I'll check it - thanks for this :)

I've seen multiple deals running in Appsumo that target exactly this idea like Leadworx. They seemed to have a great deal some years ago ($99 Lifetime for something less than the basic plan (1K visits/month), which currently costs $120/month for 5K visits/month)

Anyway there are a ton of apps like this that are constantly popping out of the blue in Appsumo and other LTD sites like grabltd. Just scroll and maybe you could find something like that.

Personally I don't need such degree of detail, and Google Analytics doesn't do that. So I'm currently using Clicky for most of my niche/adsense sites and GA for my B2B sites.

You can always use two analytics platforms in tandem fyi. It doesn't have to be one or the other, it can be and.

Thank you!
it looks spot on :)

Yes, Google Analytics is one of the best free tools if your goal is to analyze the traffic. I am not sure about service that could extract Linkedin info tho.

@AntiHacker Basically there are companies that can match IP addresses with registered companies and their employee on linkedin.
quite pricey service, starting at 500$/month
