twitter account locked, how to avoid in the future.

So my twitter account i was manually following and and unfollowing which had gained about 500 followers in 2 days requested to have a verification code sent to a number i got off smspva.

Well I no longer have access to that number you only get them shortly for a few min.

How can I avoid this in the future or what better service can I use so I have access to the numbers?

thanks and is google voice a viable option? if so what are the cheapest ways to verifiy a google voice account?

Twitter stopped allowing VOIP numbers for phone verify.

You need Real number for twitter.

Buy sim card locally and use them.


Never use disposable number for twitter verify, you will lost the account when they ask re verification.

that sucks, can you give me a good source,or a good sim to use? I know nothing about sims, also what type of phone do you need and do you have to pay for a plan or are sims pay as you go?

You don't have mobile phone number? buy more numbers from your local shop according to your need.

Can't you just remove the phone number after verification? So you aren't getting locked out. This tactic was working a while back. Given that this still can be done, worst case scenario, if you need to verify the account again, you can do it with a new number. Although verification requests can be frequent, so probably a physical SIM card would be the best.

Does google voice work any longer?

Can i get sims, to verify google voice, then use google voice to verify twitter, that way everything is online, I can access the phone numbers much easier as well.

Or does google voice not verify twitter anymore?

If you want to manage that many accounts, look around on the Marketplace for virtual solutions. I can't really recommend any, i'm not up to date with them.

There are physical solutions to manage SIM cards for even that many accounts, search for 'multi sim card gsm modem', 'multi sim extension adapter', 'sim bank', 'sim server', 'sim gateway' on Google. These can be pricey though.

thats not true i use private numbers that i rent monthly and i tie them up to each twitter account 1:1 without any problems and if i do get a re verifications i still own the number and its easy to verify it without a problem

Twitter has been this way for awhile. If you’re not in Europe and have access to cheap sims, you will be spending hundreds per month solely on phone numbers. Of course you got locked, you’re extremely naive to be surprised by this.

Until the last day Pulte (scammer), whoever he wanted to ban/suspend, Jack was doing that!

I know profiles with little over than 50 followers and people with a million followers who got suspended just because of dear Pulte and scam he is running!
