I am not into SMM Panel but many Indians are in SMM Panel. So if it's illegal to have SMM panel then what's the option for them?

There are many things illegal in india. People still do those.

What is? I didnt think creating fake accounts was illegal, but creating accounts pretending to be somebody else likely is.

I always hear about Paypal banning people who run SMM panels, and now India are hunting these people down.

I understand that it's fake profiles and that people buy them to make themselves look more important. But why are Paypal and the Indian government so anti those panels? Are they stealing people's accounts or what's the big deal?

Think this is the real concern of there's IMO. Like they said themselves - far too many sellers to really whitewash the entire market.

I think the reason that one case made the headlines is because the seller was misrepresenting a celebrity to promote his panel and she wasn't too happy about it when she found out.

That being said 54 is still pretty big so i'd keep watching the press on the subject.

I just saw devumi case, US FTC is even more strict. Indian IT act is not even close to US laws.

To follow up on the question from @Zbigniew, I'm also interested as a non-Indian.. why do smm's get so much flack from the Indian govt in this case?
