interested in your journey.

what fundamentals do you look at? What places are giving you 1000/2000X leverage? And,what software do you use?

Great to know about you. Only Forex or stocks as well?

I am a newbie when it comes to trading, but I am very interested to step into this and make a part-time career.
I expect your journey will help me learn more about trading.

You are experienced, what do you recommend for beginners like me.

fundamental analysis, COT reports and market sentiment
This is the reason why you are successful - I always imagine technical analysis is the tools to dig the treasure, but the fundamentals is the map leading you to it.

Retail traders don't care about what's actually going on unless it's part of the Legit Hedge Fund Pip Surfing 102.5% Guaranteed Strategy.

Best of luck with the journey.

I will try to reply to all questions tomorrow. But I give you something interresting to analyze. People tend to think that its safe to use asset managers to manage their money...like hedge funds...if you look at their longterm "success", you can see they are just as bad as retail traders are. Its like the guy in Wolf of Wall Street said..."We have no idea where the market is going, we just want to get clients to give us money, so we can profit on the fees and keep them afloat as long as possible." The "same" people manage pensions funds, too, btw.

Here is what AMs do now(image below). They are heavily long on euro. On the other picture you see banks, the dealers, heavily short on euro. Who do you think is the smart money? Last time asset managers were heavily long, EU was at 1.25...and its only dropping since then.

Need to get some more rest now.

Following this one! Just started learning forex and currently blew up 50k on demo account lol. I am still learning tho. Will not jump to the market with hot cash until i 1000% sure with my strategy. A question for OP:

You are not a reversal trader it seems and more likely a trend trader. How do you decide if a trend will countinue and parameters do you consider to support your calculation before making the entry?

Good luck with your journey Op

I do both actually, trading trends and looking for reversals and corrections as well. When it comes to the entries, I could write full pages about it...too complex. :)

Main fundamentals mostly, interrest rates, printing money, etc...central bank decisions. Daily news are not much relevant, as those numbers are manipulated and market cares less and less about them.

There are a few brokers who offer leverage above 1:1000, not many, though. I picked roboforex...so far so good.

I don't trade with software, manually only.

I used to do stocks some time ago...not anymore...no company is publishing real numbers, so even though I am an economist, it makes no point to analyze numbers that are fake. A company can have top notch numbers and go bankrupt the next day...thats when the real numbers come out mostly. Its too much of a gamble.

Now its time to focus on next week, so wish me luck! :)

Don't learn on demo, its a waste of time. And time is money after all.

Thanks for replying to me, what you recommend to me or people like me. From where to learn and start.
Any guide, source to learn more about this.
Following your updates.

granted some companies do well to hide items but you need to know where to look. Forget just looking at fundamentals/ratios
