Lol the "twitter hack scam" lives on.

I keep getting hit with ads today about this whenever i watch youtube content on crypto:

http://prnt.sc/tkihxu
Imagine that $100k goes into ads on youtube? (That could 10× considering you dont pay for short views/skips, right?)

Could this fuck up the ethereum market, or help it?

If "doubling" scams get out of hand, would social platforms blacklist crypto do you think - which in the end harms the value in USD?

& do you think this is related to the twitter hack?

Also i thought crypto transactions are on a public ledger of some sort. Doesnt this make it easy for all these scams to be stopped & caught easily?

YouTube have not yet realised they've been hacked

That's stupid of how google doesn't act, and yet a lot of people been scammed watching that ad on youtube. I feel bad for those people beside that I think all the companies should stop being lazy and be strict on what ad to approve and what not because now they get bot approved so those scammers do whatever they want. What a shame!

Nah I don't think so tbh. Also I hate that such scams go wild and especially if they got approved on adnetworks. It just means the rules are going to tighten up for the rest of us. Who isn't doing anything wrong.

Its still going. I wonder if these are scam ad accounts that will pay 1 time and bounce.
They could really fuck google here, by the $millions.

It appears every ad has a different design and link. Probably a seperate ad account.

Im getting hit worse by these than by tai lopez ads. And hes a top spender.

The ads are like 5 minutes long so they definitely are not paying for most of the views they get.

I could imagine this hitting $millions in ethereum

Do you think its artificially spiking up the bidding war with crypto ads click/views?

This could really hurt google profits & clients, no?

Media is very powerful. Create a panic and get $$$

i report these videos everytime i see them

Youtube doesn't care to ban/block them because they're getting paid by them

imo, YT facilitating and approving the scams, means they're part of the scam

Yes I do but not only that. Google might tighten the rules on any ads related to crypto
