You can only hide your links if you own the sites you're placing them on.

Nice trick, but it doesn't work anymore since moderators now edit in html view . I remember the good old days, when I'd get easy d0follow and high quality forum backlinks with this method.

Yes. It still counts as a backlink. I don't build links this way, and it will most likely be a nofollowed link anyways so your time is much better spent elsewhere if we're talking SEO

You can only hide links via CSS if you own the site and can edit the code.
