[Directory site] do you have experience?

I'm putting together a directory site and have scraped thousands of businesses. I want to chat with someone who has done this before as I'm noticing that instead of being most automatically updating I still have a crap load of changes. Anyone got experience? There is no timeframe I'm just looking at starting a project to pass the time and learn but hit a wall.

It's not something that I have personally done myself, however, I know that there is a few WordPress Themes for this sort of thing.

I just bought a copy of wilcity theme and it seems great, also got wp import. The problem is all the fields don't match up and I have to manually edit them all and it would take weeks of work or hire a team, which I can't do because it's a personal project so the budget is extremely small

Ah I see, the fields don't match up at all? I would be contacting the developers if that's the case...

Yeah, you need to contact the devs to fix it for you.

Thanks for the heads up, I searched around online but there is very little information on this particular Wordpress directory theme. I'll for sure get in contact with them Monday and see what they can help me with.
