Botting my way up

Hey guys,

The last several days I was quite bored and created a bot that is totally spoofed as a human, so also with an own algorithm in it that decides what to do on the website + perfectly spoofed on the technical side as well.
I'm thinking of running this on an own website that has ads from Juicyads or something like that (sometimes the bot also clicks an filler ad + it uses pop-unders). Is there anyone that has experience with this? Is it worth it? Planning to run around 50.000 unique visitors daily on my adult website.

Don't run it in your own website, as it can get flagged for unusual traffic. Try it first in some other website or a blog with the same ad network or a different one and analyse the result first.

Thanks! I'm using residential rotating proxies by the way. Maybe it's an idea to keep it around 1000 visitors per day first to see how to performs and what the possible payments are?

Mix them with cheap traffic from social media and/or cheap paid traffic. Your CTR on your ads can't be more than 1-2%, keep it realistic.

That could work. At the very least, it gives you a case study on what is the breaking point for such a bot. You can get the threshold limit for traffic and how it behaves. Mixing cheap traffic/paid traffic can also work to make it look a bit unique.

Thanks for your answer, I already implemented this in my algorithm. There is a max 5% chance during some actions that the bot could click an ad.

The hardest thing is when you start monetizing this traffic, And I guess all ad networks are using bot mitigation. Do you have any Idea what you gonna do then?

The monetization part should take place by the pop-unders + the roll-over video ads. With the right technique I assume this should be no problem to be done by bots

As someone already said, it is very important to keep it real in all aspects. What kind of resis are you using (dedicated or shared)? Are you rotating them with each request?

Each request will indeed be rotated, rotating residential are shared
