Allrighty,
howabout if i wanted to use this with offline methods, how would I go and go round the "no type in traffic" thingy. So I buy a domain "keyword.com"..

But can't redirect that directly to referer guarded url "blog.com/post/?fwd?=1", because it would not have a referrer and would be ignored by refguardian... Some kind of timed .php redirect or how would I do this?

ps. howabout adding this as an option in later versions? So blank referers would be ok too, would help at least my case :)

Cheers,
liz

Absolutely. Blank inbound referers to the redirect link will be optional in 1.1 as will redirects from the index of the blog.

Question for ya. lets say I have a laptop and I`m walking in the mall and using the malls wifi system I have someone sign on and go to my website to fill out offers, will your program stop the advertisers from knowing it was me and my laptop over and over again? or should i change my ip and clean my computer each time someone logs on and then direct them to one of many webpages that i can setup which eventually leads to my real site?

I can't give you help defrauding companies like this, but if a user clicks on a link, it will show the referer as whatever site you install WP Guardian on. With the plan you've outlined above, you will end up losing accounts, by the way. There isn't any long term value to the advertiser.

I bought this script and it looks great! I am having the same problem though as Mikie46 above (post 62). I created a page with the link to the guarded url and clicked it. It just redirected me to my whitehat page and that's it?

Just PM'ed you back. Most of the time, the issue is the permalink structure, but send me the info I requested in the PM and we'll get you sorted out.

Just wanted to say that the support for this product is outstanding! I don't think they could have fixed my issue any quicker if they were sitting beside me at my computer!!

Hi olden, ok kinda complicated scenario...I am making a site which will prompt the visitor to fill out multiple offers. I am using covertlinks to pull the cpa offers to be on my site. But want to be able to use RG to fake the referer. But is their any way you can think of to keep them on my site?...hopefully that made some sence...BTW bought your forum generator, kick ass software and support!

Is there any way this can be manually detected? For example, if a network suspects you are using this plugin, can they find it?

Some networks don't work with CPA-R, have you come across any that will not work with this plugin?

I'm also really interested in the geo redirecting and post rotating etc.

Can you explain this part a little more?

Thanks

Sorry for the delayed responses. This is the first time I've had a sustained connection to BHW in a few days.

@robert
I think we took care of you via support email. Let me know if you have any other questions though.

@intence
I've been around, just unable to connect to BHW. The best way to get ahold of me is to email support.

@croixstar
I haven't heard of any networks banning the plugin. Unless a guarded URL is accessed directly, there isn't any footprint on the page that would indicate Referer Guardian is installed.

With Geo-IP redirection, you assign countries to links. Users will only be redirect to links that have either All Countries assigned to them or their specific country of origin. If there are multiple links that match a user's location (including All Countries) then the link they are redirected to will be random from the list of applicable links.

Let me know if that doesn't make sense and thanks for your interest.

Hey Olden,
Not to sound wrong, but i already have a plug in for this type of thing that seemed to work fine. I have taken the summer off this year and just getting going again, does this work better than the cpa redirecter? I always liked your stuff, just looking for a reason to stop using what I have. :cool:

Thanks for the kind words. Aside from being easier to use for most people, Referer Guardian also has a lower leak rate, as explained in this blog post.

For customers: The best way to get ahold of us is to email the support address provided in the included instructions. Because of BHW up-time issues, we're often unable to reply to PM's on here in a timely manner.

This sounds good i think i might get it when my website is done on Friday so i can start my CPA campaigns and ear me a few hundreds $$$ a day very safe. :)

Hey, i read the post you sent me to, I think you have given me the reason i was looking for. I will be getting this in the next week or so. You have any package options for taking more then one of these plugins of yours?

I thought about picking up the wp guardian as well.

I'm in the same boat as rube77,

Is there any discount on this if we pick up a copy of wp guardian?

Cheers
