I am currently working on my first E-Commerce project and it was time to put in some product details. There's a blog section in the website for articles. Can I use that long description of the products on blogs or would that be Self Plagiarism?

Also your website will not rank good either its duplicate/clone/spin or closely related cotent. Big G is getting smarter.

you can write blog on product uses advantage.
Or latest news & update in your niche.

My suggestion is to tweak those content and add them. I did the same thing for my very first sites because that was the only safest option avaiable back then.

You can write a unique content and add them in your blog section. Example: - Product details or Importance of this product. Or else write eCommerce, content for current pandamic situation.

It isn’t plagiarism of any kind, but it is duplicate content, which is something that you should be very careful about. When (not if) Google detects it, both (or all, if you have more) your sites featuring said content will take a vicious spanking.
I’d advise you to just post original content on each site that you run. If you can’t make the time for it, then I advise hiring a content writer. Otherwise, the drawbacks of duplicate content will far outweigh any potential benefits.

It's not plagiarism, but a duplication. I'd suggest to rewrite the text you have and use it instead of copying from one platform to another.
