I am trying to use Ahrefs and scraebox to find potential sites for guest posting.

I will search in Ahrefs content explorer to find my keyword such as "real estate" int he title.

Then I filter by DA and date the content was published.

I use scrapebox to clean up the list for duplicates and then I reimport to Ahrefs to check traffic.

Once done I use this list.

I am able to get good lists, but when I check them most sites are off-topic.

How do you search for guest blog opportunities? What shop I do differently?

Thanks!

I really don't have the answer but when you find out will you call it the scrape and bake method? I'm actually interested in learning too hopefully someone will chime in with some good info

In your example, it sounds like your 'seed term' may be a bit too high level. Try using longer-tail terms such as 'real estate marketing' or 'getting into real estate' and that should help with your relevancy issue.

That would be a good name

That has helped, thanks! Any other tips?

You could pull backlinks for all the relevant pages and find all the primary terms that those pages are ranking for and rinse/repeat.

I assume you are also using Scrapebox to scrape SERPs for relevant pages?
