PBNs in 2020? What metrics and procedures?

What's the minimum metrics you'd look for in an expired domain for a PBN nowadays to be used on a moneysite with like 35DA and 300 RD? Is there anything important to keep in mind that's different than a couple years ago? I haven't built one in awhile.

Money is a big factor so if you have the money to purchase clean expired domains with 1000s of referring domains it going to cost you more than a site with a few referring domains

Yeah I am pretty familiar with how to build them, I built over 100 a couple years ago, but I haven't done any in a few years so I'm wondering if anything has changed now in 2020.

I'm trying to scrape my own domains since I don't want to use a ton of money, so that's my main question. Will a domain I find with ~ 15DA and 50 RD be worth it to build out (if the backlinks look okay), if my moneysite is already 30DA and 300RD? Will that still provide a boost?

Number of unique referring domains and cleanness of the profile are my 2 top priorities.

2 months is a good time. DOn;t just wait tho. Publish at least 1000 words of contnet in the meantime.

Sounds good, how about the minimum metrics? RD and Cleanness are important, but where would you put the actual # cutoff minimum for RD? Do you look at DA at all?

Every single metric can be manipulated easily. Feels like you want to buy them domains yourself and save some $$ which is cool but I'd personally go with @Nargil services and save on headaches.

I suggest, checking its backlink profile, referring domain and anchors before making a decision.

I do look at every metric, yes. They help me paint the whole picture. Ahref's UR is the most important one for me personally as it reflects link juice pushing capabilities the best imo.

I go for domains of 100+ RD but I'll take lower too if they are "nice" and price is right.

DA and RD are just numbers. The most important are clean backlinks structures, anchor, and spam level. Some high DA expired domains I saw during a research for a client and personal projects were shit. Many of them have negative backlinks structures and spammy anchor. Another thing: The good ones with with high DA are often snapped up by greedy registrars and they demand hefty amount to buy them. As far am concerned, nothing much has changed in the things to look out for when buying expired domains
