Is it Possible To Outrank Amazon ?

As you know after the Google latest update,Amazon is everywhere.

I am targeting certain keywords from a site which have good backlinks profile and ranking on 2nd or 3rd page for many product review keywords. The first page 1 to 4 position dominated by company official site and Amazon.

So guys, do you think it is worth to try these keywords where first 3-5 postions are dominated by official websites and Amazon?
There are some affilaite sites who managed to rank other than Amazon and have less backlinks to particular page or post.

Search volume is about 500-2000+.

Hope to get better suggestions and tips from other members here

competing amazon is difficult as on amazon every product has to follow certain criteria to actually rank well on amazon. So they work on the products branding, Its details page ,EBC , its description images and videos on every listing. After doing all of that they are actually using amazon platform that is most trusted and takes 70%+ share of the whole ecommerce market . So its real hard to actually compete someone on amazon or amazon in other word.

But you can surely compete for first page on google. You need to check all the criteria of amazon product pages as it has been developed over the years and if the product detail page of your website is good and you can get the social traffic from different platforms to your website then you can stand a chance to get ranked on 1st page at least. If not on 1st 4 spots.You need to add more things on detail page like social proofs of your product availability, delivery , brand etc .

It certainly can be done....else there were not thousands of affiliates doing it
several factors like site authority etc also get into play when it comes to outrank amazon. However it is possible and affiliates websites are doing it all the time

As i already said, my site is on 2nd and 3rd page for many keywords which are money keywords. Yes some quality backlinks

Individual pages do not have links.

So you can outrank with good links.

Absolutely, it can be done. If the page you're trying to outrank isn't optimized for the keyword you're targeting, outranking their listing just takes a bit of competitive research, content and link building.

It's possible, but it's going to be downright difficult. Amazon spends a lot of money to maintain its rankings and competing with that is going to take some doing. We only managed to do it a few times and we had to pull out all the stops to get it done. Citations, quality links and contents, and tons of SEO. If you are going to do this, you will have to really commit to it.
