Hi, I am a noobie with big goals. I am making a blog based on my profession. I want to do all of these things eventually(long term goal) :

1) day to day on the job stuff in one section.
2)Specifics about regulations etc. in another section.
3) I want to sell exam prep and make free online quizzes
4) I also bought a job board here from BHW which I want to add eventually
5) Also resume help for my specific job I want to add eventually.

All of these things can have their very own website. Even my topics that I want to talk about in the blog I can make a whole blog on 1 topic and have enough content lol

This seems far-fetched for a noob like me but it is a long term goal. But let me clarify:

My questions are:

1) Is a site with all these things, (1 per page) just too much? Should I make separate websites or can I eventually merge them to be an authority site with info on all sectors of my profession that I will make content for.

2) Is theme something to consider for expandability? I use Acabado from Income School now which is great for blogs but for all this other stuff I want to add like ecommerce and job board and quizzes for exam study I am not so sure.

Sorry for long winded question. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

If everything comes under single niche then better to stick on 1 website.
Ok thanks, what I did was buy a domain name within my niche but not specific to any part. So if I start any one of those parts and complete it to the end it wont be bad or seem out of the place when I add another.

Now just the question of the theme. Which theme is good for various different items? I like Acabado because it's the fastest theme I ever used but not sure it can handle all those different things.

You could create a few mini niche job boards, to compliment the one you have, and then also at the same time build an authority job board, that's what I'm doing in this niche.

That's a good idea but my main focus would be the general blog and the educational paid products/free quizzes. Wondering which theme can handle all that in the future and still not be too slow.

As suggested, Try to tie them up onto one single site. It really helps when you're into SEO.

I too would recommend this advice

I tagged all of these because you guys helped me make my decision. I will make 1 site thanks. Just one more thing though is the theme. Is Acabado from Income School a good theme for this? I like it because of its speed but can it adapt to ecommerce and all this other stuff and still be fast? Any other themes you guys recommend? Thanks again.
