Long time in the Void!
I have been working on a new project here and I think I have finally found a working method in which to scale that is easy and practical to be able to replicate and for others to follow.
As the Title suggests, I have been working on growing facebook pages. Now I know a lot of people are going to say they are shit. I have heard the pros and cons so we will just leave it at that. If you personally don't like facebook, thats ok, this post isnt going to be for you then.
SO WHAT AM I DOING?
As this post title as also already stated, It is in progress. I have been working on this project for the better part of a month working all the kinks out of it and thus far I have to say that I am really enjoying this project.
I started out picking a niche to target on facebook. I personally love politics so that is what I started with. There are literally hundreds of niches that you could jump into. In this case, it the bigger the niche the better.
To do this method, you could go 100% free but I didn't do that and I wouldn't suggest for anyone to do that either. I started out creating a page in the niche I said and started organically growing my page. I also started growing a companion group with it for down the road. You will want to do this as well. the sooner the better.
You want to get to 100 page likes so you can get a custom name for your page. I joined 20 or so groups that were lightly moderated and posted content on to my page and shared from my personal facebook to those groups. You are going to want to post engaging content that encourages people to like, comment and share. When someone comments on your post make sure you comment back. but you are going to want to spread these comments and likes out. Everytime you like or comment on your post, it will bump it to the top of the group again. so if someone comments on your post give their comment a like after 20 or so mins. Then after another 20 or so mins comment back. you want to keep your post on the top of the group for as long as you can in spaced out intervals.
If for whatever reason your post isnt getting likes or comments, dont worry. Just try again. It might take you a few times to figure it out. Don't try and beat a dead horse, just move on to the next post.
If you arent good at making posts, find other posts that are doing well and remake them. Memes do great in most niches, quotes as well. Find something that is working for someone else who is big in your space and make it like theirs. I wouldn't directly steal because you could put your page in jeopardy. I personally use inshot app on my iphone to make most posts.
GROUPS PART 1
I was able to get my first 100+ likes by using only 7 groups. You heard that right. I only posted any one post to only 7 differrent groups. I found that if i posted to more then that then Facebook didn't like that. If you have a newer facebook then this prob wont work right. find out what works for you. Facebook gave me a warning. take it slow!
Groups are going to come into picture again later as well for some organic growth and views and reads. You dont want to over do this because you can tigger a ban from facebook for spaming when you are trying to get views with instreaming ads.
PAID ADS
After you have gotten your first 100 or so page likes, its now time to get some ads running. you will run ads all the way up to 10k and beyond. I am currently getting likes for .02 cents for tier 1 (US targeting) likes. I would pay up to .05 cents per like for US likes. That being said, if I could redo it, I would have started out with worldwide targeting with English speaking people until i reached 10k page likes. After 10k page likes, I would switch to US (or tier 1) targeting for the next 10k likes.
In my niche, I currently have over 1100 page likes and have paid around 40$ thus far.
INSTREAM ADS/INSTANT ARTICLES
After 10k page likes you can apply for insteam ads. You'll also need 30,000 mins of watch time as well. After you have 10k page likes, it will be easy to acquire your 30k mins of watch time.
Honestly I have no idea what the requirements are for Instant Articles. I will most likely outsource this part
RANDOM THOUGHTS
I plan on doing this over and over again with pages if I get this up and profitable.
I am sure I have left some things out so feel free to comment down below. Ill do my best to answer any and all questions as to what I am doing. You can feel free to hate as well but just know everyone thinks you a douche.
