I want to address the BHW community members. We are developing a service that will provide scraping services in the future. The main works have been performed and everything works perfectly on the alpha test, so we have decided to test on real requests from people.
We are creating a system that will be able to collect information from open sources and other resources. It will be fully resistant to the load, protected from failures and keep excellent speed by collection information in real time.
At the moment we need to check how all parts of the given organism will work, therefore I would like to invite you to test this service but for now only at Google queries level, which are the most popular among BHW users.
Testing process:
1) You make a request to take part in the test, in the topic or in a PM.
2) We send you API documentation in a PM.
3) In the future you will send requests you need to collect - 150 thousand requests per day (the test will take 2 weeks), or 5 million requests one-time throughout the day.
4) We monitor the load and the performance of the system. ( full HTML code)
Why 150k a day and 5 million
1) to check the stability of the system,
2) to check the stress tolerance of the system and where its weak points are in order to fix them.
We expect to hire about 10 testers and hope for your support because in the future this resource will be useful to a large amount of people. I cannot provide some details of the future service but I can guarantee that everyone will be glad with the development.
