How good are Community tab posts for subscriber gain?

Would it be worth to buy a $100 community post in my niche from a 800k Subscriber account?

Does anyone of you have experience with Community tab shoutouts?

How much subs could I get with such an post?

barely any good effect lol unless u r really huge channel, people barely check community tab, i did shout out from 500k sub channel on community tab, the guy gained around 100 subs lol , so less compared to if we would shoutout from video. the same channel did video shout out and a channel guy ganed 30k subs

It does not matter the subscribers count as it matters for the engagement ratio and how loyal are the subscribers of that channel.
Last year i got a shoutout "25$" from a channel with about 100k subs and i gained more than 1k subs ,about 450 likes & 50 comments but i think it also depends on How good your content is.

Wait doesn't community tab post notify your subscriber? Isn't it the same as if you post a video your subs get a notification?

Yes, people do get notification but they don't take action or don't engage with community posts mostly...
