PM search wasn't in the old version 1.5 -

We've delivered a like for like release with a few tweaks. We'll then go through the forum suggestions and feedback for the most popular requests and see how we can incorporate going forward.

PM search added to the feature request list.

You can find it in Fiter option... Top right corner...!

Thanks - unfortunately, the majority of add-on's aren't coded to work with a forum of our size and complexity or scale of use and tend to break under the load that BHW put's on them.

BHW is heavily customised, whilst it's Xenforo at the heart the rest of the body, arms, legs and head are totally non-standard, hence it's a little more than pressing the button and walking away for a cup of tea when it comes to upgrade time. ;)

I understand that :P. I was just throwing a possible solution for this, as I can understand it cannot be integrated successfully on a highly customized version of XF.

The filtering addition is fantastic, just noticed that after I read Festingers message and tried looking for a search facility. But this is one thing that normally takes me loads of time - looking for a conversation with member X. Go to message box, control+F, enter member X name. Can't find, go to page 2. Go to page 3. And so on, until I find the conversation.

Now with filtering, I can acomplish the same thing in a matter of seconds. So although search would be useful in some situations I feel like the filter feature is a more functional alternative for me personally.
