I honestly don't know where the "skygo" in that post came from. Probably things just running in my head and mistakenly got written down. And its funny because it was the first of the sentence as I looked at it again in my notepad file where I wrote the original message.

I know the file's fine, but just so you know, Chrome reports the file as dangerous, and accessing the URL throws the red screen saying harmful site ahead.

Well, it's y decade old tool, it can be that it simply doesn't work on modern OSes. You can try a couple of things though. Run it in compatibility mode, if it's still not working, your OS might miss something to run the program, which can be an appropriate version of .NET Framework.

Bleach was a free proxy tester that came with forum proxy leecher
its been around about 10 years, i still use it daily. as for red flags i get 0
im using latest firefox - updated malwarebytes - and mcafee 2020
and its never flagged bleach proxy tester
