Guaranteed Removals & Removify Services

Hi all,

New to these forums and I am wondering if anyone has heard of Guaranteed Removals or Removify? They both claim to remove negative reviews and content on a variety of pages such as Google Business pages and Yelp listings. Curious if anyone has experience with these companies?

I know both. They are "legit" companies, nothing dodgy, no hacking or stuff like that. Neither of them can guarantee to remove anything and everything though, it depends what you want removed, where it is, what it says, etc. Both only charge if they remove the review so the financial risk is fairly low. I've talked to both companies and Removify seemed more professional and their quote was quite a lot cheaper than GR. Removify have their own technology and platform whereas GR sounded more like they just take on lots of work and charge a lot when things work out. Your biggest "risk" is just that the review can't be removed.... but then it doesn't cost you anything so it isn't really a risk except spending some time finding out, it doesn't really hurt to try and fail. Unless you can't afford to pay if it does get removed I suppose.

I would caution that there is a potential risk. If you're trying to get an individual publisher to remove an article and part of that strategy is DMCA or a strongly worded letter from an attorney, both could be strategies, you could incite the publisher to ramp up his attacks against you.

I've worked with numerous clients who have had their situations become increasing worse after making contact with the individual publisher. This has happened a couple of times with newspaper publishers. The newspapers took the opportunity stand upon a sense of journalistic integrity and proclaim that "John Doe has demanded that we remove an article. We will not comply." The news about the request was more of a story than the original publication.
