Web2.0s can be parasites too.

Parasite is when you use the sites to rank them for your own purpose. For example, ranking Medium.com post to promote your affiliate links.

Web2.0s are mostly used for SEO purposes.
For example, you create 5 web2.0s and link your money site in the content so that you are getting a link juice.
