Are they really giving the prizes to real people? Or to people they don't know?

An Instagram page very famous to my country gives away 1000€ cash + iPhone 11 Pro. 400k followers page. The winners will be those with the most comments.

What do you think?

Most of them are fake. It depends on the site to be fair but the biggest problem is that you can not be sure if someone actually wins. Most times the winner is not even being announced and if he is announced there is a high chance that it is a second account or friend of the page owner.
But you can try your luck, you don't have much to loose, except time I guess. :D

You can't be sure about it. Kevin Hart yesterday posted a giveaway for $20k. I dont even know if it would be fair since they can choose any random winners and they wont loose any money. The main focus for giveaways is to increase their followers which they ultimately achieve.

Yeah exactly! They increase their follower numbers but if the giveaway ends, the followers who were just interested in the giveway, start unfolowing. Sure there is always a few amount which forgets to unfollow or sticks for the next giveway :D

It depends how they do it.

For example, one influencer that I follow filmed herself and put it on her story one after one, she was random scrolling manually on comments and showed everything on her story, picked 5 different random people this way. So not all of them.

Personally I think all the giveaways are scam except the one who show real proof and the delivery of the giveaway to the one who has won.

Real proof means showing on the story either choosing manually or using giveaway softwares.

There are many telegram marketplaces where you can enter a giveaway for as low as 10$ and they claim 2k-5k as a guaranteed growth.

But I hardly believe that not more than 10-20% would retain after the giveaway is over.

Probably fake. Or the prizes are given to its own people

Yeah around 30-40% unfollow as soon as giveaway is over. Still the estimated growth for Kevin Heart giveaway is around 100k.

Guys, giving the prize to a friend you know, is considered as fake giveaway.

Would be surprised to know that these A list celebrities are promoting scams. From what I know the ones that @izadi does are 100% real because I've personally talked to him about them before.

Depends on which, I know you can buy 'spots' in giveaways - which you gain followers from by celebs.

Good thing you have brought this here. Yea, i noticed that too. And mind you, these giveaways are being posted by very popular verified accounts. Not so sure if it's fake or na

If they're not I don't have the kind of luck to win them anyway but they are a good tactic lol it gets hopeful people excited even though most are fake

most are fakes. cant even see who won. just go after those official profiles though rather than those no bm at all

Iphone, 1,000 euro??? This is too good to be true!

If this is bigger and well known companies who offer giveaways or contests, they are The legit ones. If the one who is offering this is not a reputable and popular company, think if it as a "way" to increase traffic, get leads or emails....

Be extra careful if they ask money for shipping fee and such, this is 100% scam...
