Proxies, Proxies, proxies...do they EVER work!

Hi there...

I've been looking for a good paid proxy provider, and had a look at 3Xw dot truesocks dot net

I found that most of the proxies I tried on the demo did not work, and the demo only had a limited number of proxies!!

Is anyone aware of a good paid proxy provider, that provides a RELIABLE list of proxies with a good geographical distribution?

The link in your sig looks good for getting a random proxy, what I really need is to be able to select the geographical location, and get a working proxy in that area?

I did not see anywhere to do that in the demo video on that site??

You can check out vip72.com, it allows you to choose the proxy based on location. I just don't know how reliable the proxies are.

Yeah, almost all free/public proxy server sux and I would recommend vip72.com to .

you can use my service at proxytronic.com . be aware though that i don't know how my provider gets the proxies. they say that they scan for them but they're all private proxies on residential lines.

I use PacketFlip, they are fantastic, quick, and the support is tremendously quick and great. A+ for me. (However, they are a little pricey, but I can see why)

Did you check cloakfish ? Higher anonymity is not possible + a non working IP is replaced by a new one.
* Country & City level resolution
* Autorotation of IPs
* plenty dynamic IPs

I know it's been a looooong while since this post but I believe a explanation needs to be done about this so the people should know:

I found that most of the proxies I tried on the demo did not work

Actually it was not mentioned is that those proxies where mandatory using authentication.
Those proxies where designed to work with a compatible socks client that knows authentication or with a socks software or plugin that adds the auth capability to the existing socks client ( for example Proxifier ).

Most people got that wrong and didn't read the documentation on the website and they ended using those proxies directly into the web browser ( web browsers regularly don't have support for such feature out of the box ). So because of that people where left thinking that those proxies didn't worked at all but in fact they did work if thew where used properly.
