I want to start a new journey and I want to get some ideas on which route I should take. I’m looking for something that I’ll be able to scale up to $3,000-$5,000 a month. I have about 4k on hand to invest in anything if needed. Do you guys have any recommendations on things that can help me achieve this goal?

What skills do you have? What do you enjoy doing? If you have an entrepreneurial mindset you could hire and train freelancers and get into copywriting, content writing or web designing.

It does not work like that. You need to find your own ideas. Read 'making money' section, a lot of inspirations there, if you think something fit your skills and your budget just ... take action. No one will tell you spoon-feed methods to earn 3k-5k $ BUT a lot of people here will help you to fix issues you will face. Stick to one business plan, don't give up and you see results.

Media buying is the way for 5k a month.
What kind of media do you buy? Do you buy videos to post on youtube or upload music to spotify or something? Thanks!

Get a truck, hot water pressure washer, and a water tank to start a membership service washing customers trash cans on trash day. Link up with the trash schedule and follow behind and profit. Can easily be scaled, but its not online. Go get rich... your welcome.

I would suggest reaching out to small blue-collar businesses that need websites, PPC, SEO, etc. Fair warning, it will take a lot of work and time to learn how to sell to these people, but is well worth it in the end.

In the comments you'll get vague replies. SEO, PPC , SMMA, SAAS, Web design. Pressure wash drive ways. Stuff everyone has seen before. All meaningless in the broad scope.
Methods posted here can pull in 3k.. 5k... 10k...100k and up. And how many methods are posted saying $1 a day.
You're unlikely to make it it copying an x-y-z formula. Especially on BHW, biggest affilaite marketing board on the net. They make for a good frame work, but it takes a twist....creative mind...to break through.
Only way to figure it out --- put your nose to the grind stone. Long hours. After that, it's smooth sailing.

If you have 4k in your hand you can do various things to get $3000-$5000 a month
1. Website designing - Easily charge $1000 (only need 3 to 5 clients a month)
2. SMMA Agency - fees fix $500 + 10% of budget (Retainer clients were bonus)
3. Flipping : depending upon the country in few parts of world it's hyper profitable
4. Copywriting : Fees $500-5000 depends upon the project & value client was getting
5. Bitcoin/invest : It needs extensive knowledge to invest & earn from bitcoin or options but once you got to know tricks of trade sky is the limit here
The amount you have $4000
1. use it to have decent website with sales funnel integrated to get consistent lead of customers
2. Found Guy with facebook or google ads experience to get leads for your business
3. Get sales expert to close the deals
If you do things perfectly then 3000-5000 is quite small amount
But again choose anything depending upon your interest & skills
