You Can't Afford Ahrefs or Any Backlink analysis tool. Keep on reading and bookmark this:

1 - Type in Google : "Your-Competitor.com" -inurl:Your-Competitor.com
2 - Don't remove the quotes surrounding the domain.

Illustration:
Wrapping the domain with double quotes, basically, instructing Google to return everywhere this domain exists. For sure including the domain name itself, and here comes the second part. We exclude the domain itself, eventually, we find every backlink this website has.
Including PBN links too ;)

Happy Ranking

This is useful for newbies. People should know that tools like ahrefs don’t get their data with some kind of magic but scrape it from data accessible on the internet. Tools just automate everything and put data on nice tables.

Buddy tools like ahrefs have their own crawler. They crawl webpage and get backlink data from there.

I didn't say they haven't, on the contrary, they do. This method I use besides my ahrefs account. But how you will hunt PBN links, and especially if it were set up to be hidden deeply from third-party crawlers?

I didn't get these. Suppose my website name is abc.com and competitor name is xyz.com, How would I type the queries in google.

You should really try and learn how google dorking is done or what it is

This is absolute goldmine. Since backlinks you find are google indexed. You just to need priortize about authority you want to link too. Rest leave it to google for indexing. Thanks for the share

You're like the guy who found the good ole' sitemap bug with Google search console. ;)

Great share.

Thanks for the tip but this only shows backlinks which have the url as an anchor right? If the link anchor is a word, it does not show by using this.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you know the difference between these two search operators? Is the second one search in the body while first one in URL? :)
