28k organic email list, how to utilize?

My site managed to collect 28k organic email subscribers. I have ZERO spam on the site, and few non-intrusive ads that are easily blocked. Last thing I ever want is a terrible user experience. I have invested a ridiculous amount of time in testing user experience, so I don't want to ruin that.

How do I utilize these emails? I send a newsletter (again, no spam in it or ads) every few months. I use sendgrid, but to be honest, I hate their platform so much. Mailgun blocks you, and has a shitty and sensitive filter.

Please recommend a good mailing platform, and an idea to monetize this.

Sorry for the out topic question
Can you please tell me which plugin are u using to collect emails, and are you using pop up or sticky widget?

Thats a sizeable list, have u checked convertkit or activecampaign?

Have u tested sending something and how many from thoes 28k clicked on the link. You can monetize the list by sending them the link whenever u publish an article, also u have to know what the users are interested in so you can either promote something like cpa or affiliate but i think it's better if you put adsense on your site.

I use a custom coded one

Nope. Checking them out now.

I have, the turn over is actually great. My only fear is if that I push something like an affiliate link, I might end up with spam reports or unsubscribes

I was thinking maybe if I used Pateron for exclusive content. What do yall think?

If your list is as good as you say it is, Mailgun won't block you. Did they give you a reason for blocking you? Try Mailchimp and aweber too maybe.

As for monetizing, try pushing something from clickbank thats related to your site to start with?

If you really want to promote your affiliate link, I believe the most efficient way would be through a blog post or anything in the form of quality content, it will help you avoid reports + unsubscribes.

I guess for now just go with only promoting the articles and may tell u to either put adsense so you can make some money or keep building the list . I was going to tell you maybe you should have put them in push notification since it's more easier and you will be sure that all the users will receive the message. What you should know before promoting an affiliate link like Amazon is if the users are actually buyers

Simple. Write a good book related to your niche with decent page count, upload to gumroad and sale to them in your next mail.

Are you cleaning your list so you get rid of emails that are no longer valid? It can keep you from looking like a spam sender to other mail servers and i clean mine every 6 months.

I have similar ads to Adsense, which are bringing decent income, but not high enough. I also have a small Amazon banner as well, which brought in disappointing income. :(

I like this idea to be honest. A book would go far with my audience, especially a low priced one

Yes. I use a commercial service for that. This service does its job without anything else. I only get bounces off of some corporate emails which apparently do not allow external senders.

I think it's better if you get money only from ads then maybe from time to time throw some affiliate or cpa offer to them. Most important thing is to focus on quality and don't spam

What is your average CTR to your newsletter?
