What to sell on twitter?

I have twitter tools and time to spend, what I can't really do is decide what to tweet and what products to promote. Is anyone selling or giving away a full twitter campaign like a list of tweets to do and clickbank products to advertise?

I like to make amazon product recommendations, amazon actually promotes this usage with their toolbar.

So do you mention books you're reading or high dollar items. That's just the my problem. I seem to be stuck and don't know what to promote. I tried things and nothing seems to work.

Amazon works especially well now that it's near the holidays. Target a highly popular gift item that everyone's after this year. Just send people to a landing page where you stuff them with your Amazon cookie or link them to a review of a product and then link them to the Amazon page.

How much success have you guys had doing Twitter marketing? Seems like there are a ton of affiliates promoting stuff and I think a lot of people think its too spammy.

I promote 2 things 1)Amazon and a porn (kinda) site, but not on the same Tw account, and made a bit off Zon on black friday/cyber monday and quite a bit more off the niche porn. I haven't had any account shut down yet. My only problem now is the apparent 'ghosting' that seems to be happening.

I have 23 sports team Twitter accounts and have them updated via blogs that are related to each team. This gives the accounts a good source of info each day and keeps the followers happy.

I then throw in some tweets that are blatent ads for products related to the sports team for each Twitter account.

As long as you mix in good info along with your ads then you will never have a problem.

What you sell/promote will depend on the 'theme' of your Twitter account. Do you have spcific Twitter accounts for the items you are looking to sell/promote?

I would go for amazon because the whole cpa thing on twitter got saturated of course. Amazon.com is trustworthy and tweeple wont be wary. Just remember to cloak your affiliate link twice so amazon cant search for the referred url to see where you've been posting your link.

I had an automated system of updating all of my Twitter accounts with eBay items - everything was working dandy for 6 months and the money was building up (only around $1000 but it was 100% hands free) and then eBay got all uptight and said they "no longer wanted traffic from Twitter".

They sent an email asking for web logs and stats like I was some kind of terrorist. I ignored them so they closed my EPN account.


So stuff eBay when it comes to Twitter.

I wasn't even spamming either. It was all white hat stuff

I've just started using the site strip from Amazon so I can't say how it is working. You just log on to your Amazon account find an item you want to promote and click it write a tweet for you. All you have to do is hit update in twitter. Toys and electronics are doing well right now but the commission % is very low.

Ohh Twitter is love.... Get as many accounts as possible and you will for sure make money is time of year advertise "super fast shipping" with amazon twilight golf and those little ugly toys ppl buy for ridiculous prices... ppl are in a hurry to buy and buy fast throw them Amazon(safe) lifeboat products make them believe this is the most rare and sought after gift by kids....

Step 1. Set up a blog
Step 2. Show up
Step 3. Make connections
Step 4: Build the relationship.
Step 5. Sale

I think creating your own blog and promoting it through your twitter account is a good idea.
Beside this use Facebook for promoting your website... create a fan page and invite people to visit your blog...this will surely get you fair amount of traffic.
Make sure that you are registered with CPA , once you starting clicks on your blog you will be on the road to making money
